Hi Uwe,

As you adviced, I tried running lout with -dft. It gives me:

ft: FontChange( [//0.6cx, nofont (lout 0.2ce), hyph_undef:fill_undef:undef], [[ ["Erasmus"]&0.2ce ["Base"]&0.2ce ["12p"] ]] )
ft:   par[0]++ = Erasmus
ft:   par[1]++ = Base
ft:   par[2]++ = 12p
ft: FontRead(Erasmus, Base)
ft:   ReadCharMetrics: C 32 ; WX 250 ; N space ; B 0 0 0 0 ;

[...]

ft: FontRead reading

ft: FontRead reading KPX Oslash Z -20

ft:   kt[216] = 1682
ft: FontRead reading

lout file "/sw/share/lout/Data/fontdefs.ld" (from "smallDoc.lcf" line 370, from "rap.lout" line 3): 28,16: fatal error: EndFontMetrics missing from font file /sw/share/lout/Fonts/ERASMUSL.afm

And looking at the last lines of the incriminated file:

KPX Oslash Z -20

EndKernPairs
EndKernData
EndFontMetrics

Strange....The AFM file was generated or extracted with TransType 2...Is there any AFM checking program available?
