TOC with simple documents

Hi all,

I am trying to generate a toc with a Document (a raw one, not a Report).
Lout tells me:
| no @ContentsPlace precedes or follows this
@ContentsPlace&&foll_or_prec...

I don't really understand as I have sections, sub sections, etc... I was
working with the Report model before, but I now want to have full
control over my document layout.

Another problem I have is to set  variables that reflect the current
Section title and Document title. This is useful for making the document
title and current section title appear in the bottom of each page.
Modifying the doc file in Lout does not work (no @Title element).

Any ideas?
