changing def's

Hi!  The list seems to be very quiet lately.  Is everyone on vacation?

Does anyone know if there is any way to change a definition in one of the
@Include files without changing the source?  I know that if you write def
@PageNum{...} you just get an error for redefining something, since that
is how functional languages work, but is there any way around it?
