    Just a simple question: Is there any package available to use pretty 
    Smalltalk code in Lout documents? I have not come accross something like 
    yet ...

No, but the prg2lout system makes if fairly easy to add one, which is
why quite a lot of other languages are available.  There is a chapter
of the User's Guide about it, and detailed documentation on how to
do it at the start of file prg2lout.c in the Lout distribution.
