Version 3.24 of Lout now available

Version 3.24 of Lout is now available from the usual place:

    ftp://ftp.cs.usyd.edu.au/jeff/lout/lout-3.24.tar.gz

As usual, a copy of the current User's Guide is also there:

    ftp://ftp.cs.usyd.edu.au/jeff/lout/lout-3.24.user.ps.gz

as well as a diff from Version 3.23:

    lout-3.23-to-3.24.gz

This new version adds no extra features. It fixes all bugs reported
to me recently (at least, it attempts to), mainly the table running
headers bugs and preface before contents in books. Please let me know
of any problems.

There is also a new version of lout.teq, the equation formatter that
uses TeX fonts:

    ftp://ftp.cs.usyd.edu.au/jeff/lout/lout.teq.2.5.tar.gz

This version is basically unchanged but the makefile now includes an
initializing run, needed to ensure that a database index file is set
up at install time. This was causing problems in the previous version
of lout.teq. Owing to yet another bug fix you need to install
Version 3.24 of Lout before installing Version 2.5 of lout.teq.
