Problems with @TradeMark

I have noticed with a document that @TradeMark keeps appearing where
the superscript tm should be. Its funny cos in other parts of the document
is is rendered correctly, but just in this one part it is not substituted.

I have cleaned the lout database/tmp files and rebuilt from scratch but
to no avail. I am using lout 3.06 under sunos 4.1.3.

Any ideas?
