Err, well, lag is indeed a problem in LW. Not sure how to solve it
though. AFAIK the only thing you can do is to toy arround with the
"-lag" parameter on the server. If you use a high value, you will loose
"responsiveness" (is that English?) but will gain in global speed.

My personnal experience shows that if the ping command reports more
than 200msec, then it's rather hard to set up fast, interesting network
games. I noticed that you're about 70msec away from me, and this is
rather short compared to delays I get with most people.

Maybe I should try and give this information when clients connect on
servers. It would not make games faster, but people would be able to
know right away wether they should expect lag or not.

I should be arround this afternoon too. However, I might be packaging
5.5.7 - which should finally fix the "server kicks clients off" ugly
behavior - so I'll spend some time coding, therefore not playing 8-)
I will be happy to play a few games though!
