A few days ago, I asked the same question.

My motivation was that current free tools for audio (/video) calls with screen sharing feature suffer of data loss when the screen sharing feature is started. To keep good voice quality while sharing screen needs tools like zoom with dedicated client.

My experience with linphone is quite good and I was thinking of stoping using Y(*) for audio conf and using linphone instead, but I definitively need the screen-sharing feature.

Unfortunately, I got an answer from Trent Creekmore <trent@lindows.org> :

> Seems that would be out of scope for the project, and would make little sense as there are many other applications which can do the same such as TeamViewer.

From my point of view, it's not so much "out of the scope" of Linphone.

Hi all, recently I see the PortSIP PBX and SDK  (www.portsip.com) have been supporting screen sharing, any chance linphone supports such a feature?
