Hello.

We reproduced the issue on Windows with Linphone 4.1.

It appears that the embedded rootca.pem was generated in 2012, before the new revision of the "AddTrust External CA Root », and is now expired. This was a mistake caused by package generation at the time.

Sadly, this can't be fixed (unless re-deploying the 4.1 version).

Our 4.2 desktop release is coming next week and will fix the issue (we are at the final stage of validation).

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,
I raised a ticket on your github site regarding the desktop program failing to authenticate users (ie start a session).
Initially I raised this for the FreeBSD stable 12.1 OS, but I see this is now also an issue for Windows too.
Been problematic for 2 weeks now.
Kind regards,
Steve
