Thanks. I used precompiled versions (from standard Ubuntu repos,
and Mac OS version from somewhere I don't remember), and I cannot
find it there. I'll try to compile my own and see if that helps.

I see. That could actually be good enough for my purpose.
I am looking for a solution for users with cognitive disabilities,
which means that I will need to dumb down the GUI. But since these
users are unlikely to set up new contacts unassisted, the one-time
effort of key validation may not be an obstacle.
