Hi,
I am trying to test linphone IPv6 clients with the IPv6 partysip server and
have had some problems... hopefully someone can give me some suggestions as to
how to fix things:
I have used linphone-0.12.1 (tar.gz file) to test v6 client - to v6 client and
also v6 client - partysip v6 server - v6 client but encountered errors in both
tests. Error is at the end of email (registration with the server was
successful)
I also tried v6 client through a NAT-PT device to a v4 server then tried making
a call to the PSTN... again registration was successful but another
'oRTP-WARNING' was encountered. The error from this is also at the end of the
email.
Using v4 client - v4 client and v4 client - v4 server - v4client/PSTN works
perfectly, no problems.
I had also tried linphone-0.12.1pre5. This worked v6 client to v6 client but
didn't work when trying to connect to a v6 server because the IPv6 addresses
were shortened in the 'via, call-id and contact fields' e.g.
2001:618:f:501::%2 instead of the full 128 bit address. (sorry I'm not able to
include the exact output) Any idea why the IPv6 addresses were shortened? Any
solution to this? The addresses were input correctly in the 'parameters'
window.
Any suggestions as to why linphone-0.12.1 did not work for IPv6? Have other
people attempted similar tests and had similar problems?
Any help and suggestions you can give me would be appreciated. If more info.
is required please let me know.
Thanks
Fraser
