Hi Elisa,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you get a combined quote development effort for the 2 points posted along with the one posted below:

3.  When the keypad is used, there is no DTMF tone feedback when clicking on the numbers with the mouse.  We are not sure if typing the numbers on the keyboard works.

Thanks,
Tarun Johar

Hi Tarun,

Thank you for your feedback.
Indeed, it would be nice could be detected and changed « on-the-go », without having to re-launch the app. We can either send you a quote for this development if it is quite urgent, or we will try to add it on our development roadmap for a future release.

Thanks again.

Hi Team,

The latest Linphone 4.1.1 is quite good.  There are two minor feature requests that would improve the usability on all platforms:

  1. If an audio device is not present when Linphone is launched, it never appears in the preferences even if it is attached later.  This can be tested using a Bluetooth or USB headset.  This behavior is the same on both Linux and Mac platforms.  We have not tested it on Windows.
  2. If an audio device is changed while a call is in progress, the call does not switch to the new device.  However, if the call is paused and resumed, the switch takes place and the new audio device is used.

It would be great if the Linphone team could implement a rescan of audio devices when the preferences dialog is opened.  That way, if a new device is plugged in, the user can switch to it without relaunching Linphone.

Best Regards,

Tarun
