[Linphone-developers] Unable to download source code using git clone

I've tried to download the Linphone source code by

git clone address@hidden:BC/public/linphone-desktop.git 
--recursive

(as suggested at 
https://new.linphone.org/technical-corner/linphone?qt-technical_corner=2#qt-technical_corner) 
but had the messages below.

(publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic).
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

Can anyone suggest what I've done wrong, please?  Also, am I right in 
thinking that the above reference is for Linux source code?
