Hi,
I found an interaction flaw while playing around with the recent
snapshot for Android (linphone-no-nonfreecodecs-video-3.2.5-17-ga2b3657.apk).
I tested this on Samsung S5 (Android 6.0), Huawei P8 (Android 6.0),
Huawei Mate 9 (Android 7.0).
Check this:
(a) Call another linphone client while the callee's screen is locked:
If it's the first connection via ZRTP then the callee is not seeing the
ZRTP-Hash confirmation buttons until the screen is getting unlocked.
(b) [on both devices is only the "Enable Video" option checked]
Call another linphone client while the callees screen is locked:
After the callee has answered and the caller initiates a video connection,
the callee's screen only flickers and there is no possibility to change to
video: the callee does not get the confirmation screen and the caller sees
only a busy circle over the video button. Now it is not possible anymore to
re-initiate a video session on both devices until the current call is finished
and a new call is made and the callee has unlocked her screen before
to see the confirmation buttons.
A question regarding video sessions: The iTunes app store shows in a screenshot
for the callee a selection bar to answer the incoming call as audio _or_ video session.
Will there also be a possibility on Android to choose as caller and callee to
intitiate and choose an audio _or_ video session in firsthand?
Thanks,
Torsten
