Really huge thanks, the externally attached firewire camera finally
works again under macosx.   :-)


Though, still a long-standing problem:  how to enter a contact with
sip-address

    sip:address@hidden;transport=tls

into a contact list?  I.e. the

    transport=tls

part gets stripped off if selected, on all platforms tested.

Alternatively, how to enforce a tls transport for signaling mode while
connecting a callee from a contact list?  (A consequence is, as SIP
IM-text is exchanged using signaling mode, it is to be assumed these are
transmitted in plain text?)
