Hi there,
I've seen Linphone is available on the two major mobile phone
platforms, and on Windows, Mac and Linux as a desktop version.
Are there any plans to port the Linux version to a convergence layout,
which would (automagically) be suitable for Ubuntu Touch? This would
mean a significant effort in UI redesign, but nothing technically
difficult to do. And the results may still work on all major Linux
distros.
Resources:
- http://www.ubuntu.com/phone/developers (Ubuntu Touch developer information)
- https://github.com/tim-sueberkrueb/ubuntu-hangups (a Hangouts clone,
which does convergence layouts; as an example!)
Kind regards,
Peter
