The tunnel is closed source, so you can't build with it without having a license for it.
It is expected that if you BUILD_TUNNEL=1, you checked out the tunnel in the submodules/tunnel directory.

Hi All,

I tried building linphone with tunnel support by passing 'BUILD_TUNNEL=1' argument while building it through Android NDK. Following is the response which I get while building it:

address@hidden:~/Downloads/Android_NDK$ ./ndk-build BUILD_TUNNEL=1 BUILD_G729=1
/home/root/Desktop/linphone-android/jni/ /home/root/Desktop/linphone-android/jni/..//submodules/tunnel/ No such file or directory
Build X264 plugin for mediastreamer2
/home/root/Desktop/linphone-android/jni/ /home/root/Desktop/linphone-android/jni/..//submodules/tunnel/ No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `/home/root/Desktop/linphone-android/jni/..//submodules/tunnel/'.  Stop.

Trying to investigate the problem, I found that 'submodules/tunnel' directory does not exist at all. I tried downloading the source again, but same case.

Is it something that has been missed out from the source code repo, or it needs to be downloaded separately or another source required to implement linphone tunnel?..(yup i saw the linphone tunnel is not implement in non-free version under GPL)...please provide me any resouces about voip tunneling.

Any pointers in this direction is appreciated.
