[Linphone-developers] Build env to build Linphone for Ubuntu 12.04

Hi,

I'd like to build a linphone executable, that can be run on Ubuntu 12.04.


What is the best way to setup a build environment allowing me to do this?

Is it easy to build directly on Ubuntu 12.04 or is the recommendation to 
build on a virtual machine with another
Linux version / distribution?

Thanks in advance for any hints of how to best build linphone under 
Linux such, that I can run under 12.04
