[Linphone-developers] iPhone background behaviour / SIP over TCP and RTP over UDP? |

Folks,
I've read the docs and FAQ, and I know that the linphone-iPhone project has a
configuration option for either UDP or TCP.
Is it possible for the underlying linphone libraries used by the iPhone app to
operate so that the SIP call control happens over TCP and the RTP audio is over
UDP?
It appears that switching the configuration option in the app switches both the
SIP and RTP to either UDP or TCP.
Because backgrounded apps on iOS require a TCP socket in order for iOS to
awaken the app, I believe that I need SIP over TCP, however my environment
requires the RTP stream to be over UDP.
Is this possible?
Gavin.
