Replying to a PM so nobody is left out.

It is a design project for my BScpE degree in computer engineering so we have to work on it ourselves. Its due to be completed about mind fall 2011. I'm mainly just looking for pointers about how to go about using the linphone core.... it seems that the SDL window just lives own its own and I'm wondering if its possible to redirect the output into a custom SDL based application or perhaps a native GTK app. Worst case would be we have to hack up the video output code with our code... it would be doable but not ideal.

I am using Linphone as the video conference software in a teleoperated robot. Is it possible to have mediastreamer write the video output into an SDL window with other things displayed in it and with for instance keyboard input? I believe I would need to modify mediastreamer? Or am I being naive and there is a better way?'

It looks to me like most of the SDL output is done in videoout.c
