You need to provide more information: for which platform you want to compile (Linux, Iphone, Windows)..

May be you just want to install Linphone and enjoy talking to somebody? Then you can just download and install software from here:

I am new to Linphone and I am trying to compile it to be able to customize it and change its interface, however I don't know where shall I get the core or code of linphone. What environment shall I use? I am running it on Windows 7.
