Hi,
You should add it as a plugin to linphone ... take a look to the msilbc plugin 
that is a sound plugin 
...(http://www.very-clever.com/download/nongnu/linphone/plugins/sources/msilbc-2.0.1.tar.gz),
 afterward it should work and if you want to update your linphone you won't 
have to fork ...
