It's exactly what I did, I am attaching the patch, this feature is useful when you have a host application that need to generate the ringtone instead of linphone ;-)

Hi Aurelien,

Indeed there is nothing in the API to know this event.
You would need to hack
linphone_call_ringing() in coreapi/exevents.c
and do something like lc->vtable.display_status(...) to report a status
message indicating it's remote ringing.
