Hi List.

Simple and probably stupid question from a Linphone newbie.

- The msx264 plugin in mediastreamer2 is that one usable ( Both with
Linphone and to create H264 streams with the lib would be interresting) if
not what's needed?

Yes, BlinkMind, Inc. paid for the development. The goal is to be able to call other H.264 phones such as Grandstream GXV 3000, Creative inPerson, and Polycom IP850 as well as our own SIP conference bridge and video server.

I sponsored the H.264 support, but I must admit I am new to compiling linphone. Can anyone offer any help on the two issues with compiling latest from SVN on Fedora9?

The first error is:

Making all in gtk
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/linphone/gtk'
Makefile:838: *** missing separator. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/linphone/gtk'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/linphone'
make: *** [all] Error 2

I commented out 838 and then ran into (could be because I commented out the 838 to past the first error):

In file included from linphone.h:16,
                 from applet.c:24:
support.h:18:1: error: "Q_" redefined

                 from applet.c:23:
/usr/include/glib-2.0/glib/gi18n.h:26:1: error: this is the location of the
previous definition
make[2]: *** [linphone_applet-applet.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/linphone/gtk'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/linphone'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Had the same problem yesterday and went for the ugly way:

I removed the gtk branch manually from the makefile, which left me with a linphone-3 binary compiled in the new gtk-glade directory and which was usable. Unfortunately, I couldn't see h264 as a codec choice in the list of video codecs.

This isn't the way to solve the compiling issue. I am new too and was in a hurry. I let you other guys sorting out why. I double check all dependencies, but maybe there are problems left there. Dunno.
