Perhaps not quite what you are looking for, but you can use columns of markup like so:

\relative c'' { \time 2/4 g4^\markup { \center-column { \flat \musicglyph "scripts.turn" \sharp } } e'8 c \bar "||" }

I'm sure there's a better way known to the real experts, so consider this a not-quite-good hack.
