there it's not mentioned :( - sorry, embarrassing...

Hello,

\clef "violin_(8)" or \clef "treble_(8)" works.
They are also mentioned in the documentation:
NR 1.1.3 Displaying pitches > Clef
Optional octavation can be obtained by enclosing the numeric argument in parentheses or brackets:
