Hi Werner; I must be missing something obvious. I have attached my Llypond source and the engraving created by Lilypond. I have also attached a screenshot of the origin PDF file showing the one measure that I'm trying to implement the cross-staff lines. I decided to attach a screenshot of my editor (splitting into two vertically) showing my staff definitions in the score section and my \changeStaff calls in the Lilypond source. What follows is the response from Lilypond after I tried implementing the "\changeStaff": ********************************************************************************************************* GNU LilyPond 2.24.0 (running Guile 2.2) Changing working directory to: `REDACTED/source/../target' Processing `The_Way_We_Were.ly' Parsing... Interpreting music...[8][16][24][32][40] Preprocessing graphical objects... Interpreting music... REDACTED/source/The_Way_We_Were.ly:259:1: warning: cannot find context to change to: Staff = lower \change Staff = "lower" REDACTED/source/The_Way_We_Were.ly:261:1: warning: cannot find context to change to: Staff = upper \change Staff = "upper" MIDI output to `The_Way_We_Were.midi'... Finding the ideal number of pages... Fitting music on 1 or 2 pages... Drawing systems... Converting to `The_Way_We_Were.pdf'... Success: compilation successfully completed ********************************************************************************************************* Thanks, Ken On Mon, Jan 30, 2023 at 12:09 AM Kenneth Wolcott <kennethwolcott@gmail.com> wrote: > > Thank you, Werner! > > On Sun, Jan 29, 2023 at 11:17 PM Werner LEMBERG <wl@gnu.org> wrote: > > > > > > > The "R.H." instruction with 45 degree slope down and up from treble > > > to bass clef: How? > > > > Look up 'staff-change lines' in the Notation Reference index to get > > details on the `\showStaffSwitch` command. > > > > > > Werner
