Well, there aren't any priorities set for the entire project.
Every contributor has their own priorities. They can change at
any time. That nobody assigned this issue to themselves (indicating
that they are working on it) merely means that so far nobody
was willing to work on it at this time. There are lots of
issues in the tracker, so this is not unusual. It doesn't mean
it has less chance of being fixed soon than any other issue
in the tracker.
