Thanks - TupletNumber isn't mentioned in the manuals except that you can change it. The manual does say that you can make it transparent but that's not the same as omitting it entirely as it still takes space.

Neither are \temporary and \undo except in the appendix to the notation manual. Maybe add a para or two somewhere in the main manual text (with example)?
