For exemple, I only found by test and trial that to obtain the melisma to include the upper half note:

I had to add a ‘2’ to the last underscore after ‘pands’:

The more I read this chapter, and the more I feel it is a kind of imbroglio, mixing automatic and manual alignment of lyrics to the voice.
