Hi Federico,
Well, I won't try to explain I understand how it works, but I was able
to adapt it to something that gives me the result I want:
\version "2.19.80"
eight = \markup {8.}
\repeat volta 8 {
%% This numbers the repeat block.
\set Score.repeatCommands =
#(list(list 'volta eight) 'start-repeat)
c1 | d | e | f |
\set Score.repeatCommands = #'((volta #f))
}
