This is driving me nuts. Is it possible to get a fermata closer to the
stave than markup? I've tried over-riding Script.outside-staff-priority,
TextScript.outside-staff-priority and various horizontal and vertical
padding values, but the fermata always goes above the text for me.
MNWE:
{
b'1^ \fermata ^\markup {"Some text"} \bar "|."
}
Hello,
I believe this works:
\version
"2.19.80"
{
\override Script.outside-staff-priority = #1 %
allows Script under TextScript
\override
Script.outside-staff-padding = #0 % removes the extra padding
b'1^
\fermata ^\markup {"Some text"} \bar "|."
}
