Ordinarily, you want the TabStaff to include all the notes in the chord to
be played, rather than just the notes in the melody.
I'd suggest that you *not* use fret diagram markups, and instead use the
FretBoards context.
Then you'd do something like:
Notes = {
c d g b
}
myChords = \chordmode {
s4 d s2
}
\score <<
\new Staff {
\Notes
}
\new FretBoards {
\myChords
}
\new TabStaff {
\myChords
}
