How do you view the result? To get nice-looking PDF output, you should do: latex file.latex dvips -Ppdf -G0 -ulilypond file.dvi ps2pdf file.ps (in the ly2dvi.dir/ directory) If you used another page size than A4, you also need to supply extra flags to the dvips command, for example dvips -tlandscape or dvips -tletter /Mats
