Do we? That's not my understanding.

Rather, what one translator suggested, namely:

  - forking the repo

  - Creating another working branch

  - Issuing a MR from this branch, against translation branch

  - waiting for a) the MR to be merged, then b) translation branch to be merged onto master

is not exactly 'ideal'. Translation branch is a safe net, now MR are a safe net. I thougth (wrongly) that use of MR was a substitute for the very existence of the translation branch itself.
