bar-line event?

Hello All,

I am working on a project to convert lilypond to braille. 
The first step is collecting all the events using "event-listener.ly". 
To extract info on the timing, i use 'measureLength 
and 'measurePosition from the context. 
However, is there a direct listener for a bar line event.
Some sort of bar listener? 
It is not part of the music-classes.
