[PATCH] Fix crash when a stencil routine is missing

Hello,

I have uploaded a patch to Rietveld:

The motivation for the patch is this report:

However, since dashed slurs no longer use the "dashed-slur" routine,
this particular crash has been fixed.  But my patch fixes the general
case of missing stencil routines.

Also, I want to add an "embedded-svg" routine in a follow-up patch.  :-)
