We have not any references to favicon. Pages in either directory show
correcly their url icon, so it does not have sense to make pages on
web/ explicitly point to ../favicon.ico, only to avoid the 404. Where
does it come from?

Why isn't there a referer?
The tutorial is now chapter 2 of the learning manual, the link is
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.12/Documentation/user/lilypond-learning/Tutorial.html
A line in .htaccess makes the redirect for
^/tutorial
to
/doc/Documentation/user/lilypond/Tutorial.html
BUT lilypond.org/tutorial leads correctly to the chapter 2. (?)
