It would be nice to get libtool 2.0 out of its perpetual "pending" state. With enough polishing, the paint is starting to come off and reveal the ugly bare steel below. Libtool 2.0 seems to be much better than what is currently released.

Once 2.0 is released, then Gary can unleash his substantial energies on the next major release.
