OK. I have applied the attached patches to branch-1-5 and HEAD of
Libtool. I've done the bi-arch x86_64 $LD thing a bit different to
have less bloated configure script. It would be nice if you could
run a testsuite run of them on k*bsd*-gnu. Also, is bi-arch happening
for knetbsd*-gnu as well, or only for kfreebsd*-gnu?
