Since things have mostly worked for many years like this, in principal
there is no reason to worry about this at the moment.  However, it
certainly isn't difficult to fix the serial comparison functions in
libtoolize (branch-2-0 and HEAD) to only reinstall Automake owned files
if it has a newer version.

Feel free to commit, but please add a TODO entry to remind me to fix
this when I look at the serial comparison functions before 2.0.
