Reading my ChangeLog it appears that I'm still doing this
occasionally (for no real reason; I got that habit from other
people). I need to stop. It bloats the ChangeLog, it hinders
accounting, and I can't see how that would be any incentive for
contributers to send ChangeLog entries (on the contrary, if you
keep writing entries in your name, they'll think this is
something *you* have to do as the pumpking).
Speaking of accounting, GCS also require the "(tiny change)"
flag in case of small changes without copyright assignment, as in
2004-07-21 Andreas Schwab <address@hidden> (tiny change)
* automake.in (check_directory): Quote $dir in regexp.
which is another reason we must credit the author on the first line.
