This was 10 Dec's CVS code. The m4 files were copied to libtool-2.1a/m4
(you can actually watch this in the "make install" output) Updating
now to see if it makes a difference...

It seems that Gary backed out his changes in libtool-branch-2-0 but not HEAD. It would be most useful for us if you would use libtool-branch-2-0 rather than HEAD since libtool-branch-2-0 is likely to be released within the next couple of months while there are still no anticipated release plans for HEAD (could be 6-12 months). There are still bugs in the 2.0 branch to be shaken out, and the more advance users there are, the better.
