Good point. Not, it won't. It's easy enough to use $ac_c if defined or
$ECHO_C if defined. Want me to do that instead?
How about replacing:
echo $ac_n "0123456789$ac_c" >"$tmp/sed.in"
with:
if test "x$ECHO_C$ECHO_N" != x; then
echo $ECHO_N "0123456789$ECHO_C" >"$tmp/sed.in"
else
echo $ac_n "0123456789$ac_c" >"$tmp/sed.in"
fi
Or is this too simplistic?
