Sorry about the format, that was the format I used for gcc and binutils
changes and didn't realise libtool was different.

Can you tell me what the current situation is in terms of the libtools
in gcc and binutils?  Do I need to do a seperate patch for the 1.4
branch to get this change into binutils and gcc or do I need to send
something directly to those lists?  Looking at the gcc CVS tree it looks
like they are still importing from the 1.4 libtools branch.

I am interested in getting libtool support for IA64 HP-UX into the main
GCC/binutils development lines, not necessarily the branch lines like
GCC 3.0.X.
