I have just tried:

and no preloading occurred.
Yes, I see:
> <video controls

in the source.

But the only instances of character '@' in the source, for that page, are
inside CSS <style>...</style> and inside Javascript <script ... </script> tags.
There are several "fsf.org" strings to be found, but no "@fsf.org".
