I used this one for the basic configuration:

It's based on Debian 5, and some configuration parameters in postfix and
dovecot (more in dovecot perhaps) have changed in the version included
in the last Debian stable release.

That's the very basic setup that I had put up in about 10 to 15 minutes.

Obviously it still lacks many things and I'd not use it as-is as my
primary mail server (not without SSL, antispam and fully automated backups).
