That is a good line of argument.

In case I wasn't clear the first time, I need *other people* to post comments to the Tent folks. (That means you, dear reader.)
This is because I don't think they would take kindly to more pestering from me, but if they see it's a larger issue than just one guy they might pay attention.

They have started releasing software, and are currently using the "MIT license".
I suggested they use Apache 2.0 or AGPL, but simply linking to the FSF's licensing page on why one might want to do that was not enough to convince them.
I suspect comments from multiple other people may be more persuasive.

So this is a call out for you to comment on this issue and see if we can get the Tent developers on board with better licensing.
