Hi Holly,
I too will be installing Libreboot on my computer in the near future. I have
visited my local "hackerspace", where they have all sorts of electronics
equipment, embedded computers, and a variety of tools for building interesting
projects. Although the people there had not installed Libreboot/Coreboot (at
least as far as I could tell), they were interested in helping me, and it is
better than having to buy all the parts myself.
If you are not sure where your local "hackerspace" might be, do some internet
searches, ask in electronics stores or email a university informatics/computer
science department. This link may also be of relevance:
https://libreboot.org/workshops/. If you find a local "hackerspace" that does
it you might want to add it to the list on that webpage.
I hope you find your way. Wishing you the best of luck,
D.
