I can import from z3950 fine and add an arbitrary number of items, entering the
barcode in: "p - Piece designation (barcode)".

I tested all 3 autobarcode settings, and manually overriding them.

Example barcodes: 2160700004132, 2160700004167, 2008-0001, 2160700004168.

If problem persists, user should supply details: biblio imported and source,
and the barcode intending to be used.
